The Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA) said that the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM) would host the NUGA Games in November.
The Secretary of NUGA, Bola Orodele disclosed this in Lagos.
He said that FUAM opted for 24 November to 4th December to finalise the construction of some facilities to be used for the Games. The game eveent is planned to accommodate a 106 Universities.
Orodele noted that four new hostels were being built and that a badminton court would also to be constructed.
She added that the hostels they have can accommodate no fewer than 1,500 athletes and they are talking of about 10,000 athletes attending the games.
Orodele said that NUGA had set aside a date in April to inspect the institution to ascertain its level of preparedness.
He, however, appealed to corporate organisations to help to finance the activities of NUGA, noting that relying on government was insufficient.
